Oh wow! What cool old photos!!!

Oh yes……the joy of PLAY!!!! And only you my dear, can spot out a playful moment miles away and share it with us to remind us that summer is a special time to TAKE THE TIME and cherish every detail about it…and Ooooooo, I love your vision for your settee and twin chairs! And yes, I do know what direction you are leaning towards! There is such a flow of AHHHHHHHHHH feelings that come with white dearest…I think we will always know that! And yes, yesterday, I had so much fun, and my husband had so much fun cleaning. The results are a clearer, brighter and lighter look in the front room. My studio opens right int the room so more than ever before, there is a spacious feeling. HOWEVER, there is more to come as the renovation project is SUPPOSED to launch off in OCTOBER, hopefully, HOPEFULLY, meaning that by the end of the year, we will be able to get my studio in the shape I want. I will send you a photo…well today, I tutor four students, then out to PLAY for me for a couple of hours. Thursday is my last FREE day ’cause Friday I go into my classroom (it is a district-required work day) and I will arrange the desks, do some clerical work and get ready for next week that will be full of meetings and prep for SEPT. 7, LA RENTRÉE!!!! Dear one, summer has been so sweet, and you were a huge part of making it so….I am looking forward to your thoughts on autumn and the inspiration that will ooze out! Have a lovely day filled with WHITE PAINT (Oh, I finished a project for my mantel, in chippy white, of course) and ENJOY YOUR CUSTOMERS as I am sure, they enjoy you!

Our summer weather is returning this weekend! We’ve had about a week of clouds and rain… we kind of needed it though…
Celebrating the last few weeks of summertime with you my dear!

Sweet summer indeed! I am savoring the last days of summer…but also wishing for a bit cooler weather…it’s in the hundreds today! eek.

Good morning sweet and MARVELOUS FRIEND! Ahhhh….I am loving my cuppa already with my sweet Rosie and taking in every second. How I love to see your visits in the morning that you make in the evening! And of course my dear, i will resend those photos! I hope that you will be able to open them….I don’t know how to send them as PICTURES but I am sure if you can’t open them again, just let me know and I will ask my husband how to send them in another format! And you wonderful white paint artist you, I LOVE HEARING ALL ABOUT YOUR ADVENTURES, ANYTHING!!!! You are never a broken record, ever! It is my pleasure, and SO UP MY ALLEY to hear what a dear friend is doing in the creative department! What did you slather today in our lovely white paint? Oh, yesterday, I tutored two dear children, and come home and just worked on my blog post for this weekend, but I was not able to play my harp or do anymore white painting, HOWEVER, a day or two ago, I painted and distressed a “fireback” that my husband made for my faux fireplace. It is painted white with some wooden appliqués and one metal wreath in the center….I LOVE IT! I just painted it one last coat of a semi-gloss white and then chipped off some paint…it is so lovely. I will see if I can send you that pic too! Oh dearest, about the syndrome….I will send an email. WEll, today, the mom of two of my tutoring students is coming over to see our house! Though they live in an affluent part of town, she still is careful on how much money she spends on landscaping and home decorating,so she is going to come to see how we have decorated on our budget! Then, I think the rest of the day, I will stay at home to relish the quiet before I go back TOMORROW to my classroom. It will be quiet, but it will be work-related, so I will be changing mind gears tomorrow. I love my work, but WOW, was this a fun summer. I will come by with an email my sweet one…lovely cuppa…oh you make the best!!!!

although, i would jump in and save the back diving for the pool. too many books where the dive into the lake/ocean proves to be a disaster…
